Science lunchtime webinar: Engaging with Indigenous communities

A panel of Indigenous people are coming together in UQ’s NAIDOC week to answer your questions about engaging with Indigenous communities respectfully and appropriately, to enable productive collaboration that creates positive outcomes for both communities and science.

Join online on Wednesday 4 August at 12 pm for a yarn with some of UQ’s Indigenous staff and Qld’s Traditional Owners. The panel, facilitated by Professor Tracey Bunda, will include :

  • Luke Barrowcliff – Butchulla man and Director of Goorie Vision
  • Emily McConochie – Wakka Wakka Kabi Country woman and Director, Nambour Community Centre
