Dorina Pojani guest lecturing on car culture at the University of Prishtina

The bustling corridors of the University of Prishtina’s Civil Engineering Faculty recently played host to a guest lecture by UQ|UP’s Dorina Pojani, titled ‘Humans and cars: A love story’. Invited by the Dean, Florim Grajevci, the open lecture delved into contemporary car culture and the fascinating history of automobility.

In a room filled with architecture students and staff members from Kosovo and father afield, Dorina talked about how the rise of the automobile has not only shaped our cities’ physical landscapes but has also influenced the way we interact with and perceive our urban environments.

Dean Grajevci’s initiative in inviting Dorina reflects the university’s commitment to exposing students to diverse perspectives and fostering a holistic understanding of urban and transport planning.
