The Tertiary Studies Expo is an annual event where young people (and their parents) interrogate university staff and students on the learning opportunities and job prospects in their chosen field of studies. These young people are savvy shoppers and worked the room to better understand the experiences offered by different universities in SEQ and beyond.

The UQ|UP team was kept busy at The University of Queensland School of Architecture, Design and Planning display. Top interests: designing solutions for climate change, urban growth, transport planning, and using data to create better communities.

It was fantastic to see that young people are excited about urban planning as a career and want to know more. This is terrific news for the built environment and planning professions.
