The forum intends to explore different angles and perspectives on housing, with a particular emphasis on the perspectives of marginalised people, including First Nations peoples, disabled people, and refugees, and will look at tenant’s rights and anti-eviction movements. Contributors include Uncle Shane Coghill, Professor Chelsea Watego, Kevin Yow Yeh, Samantha Bond, Hakim Mokhlis, Mali Hermans, Bogaine Spearim, Jade Taylor, Refugee Solidarity Meanjin, and the South East Queensland Union of Renters.

It’s a free event – register online , and see more information, including about accessibility, on the FB page

The event is hosted by FERN_CollectiveCr Jonathan Sri, and the Brisbane Free University

Would be great to see UQ|UP members there as we grapple collectively with how we can do housing better!
