The UQ Planning team has just published a Special Issue in Australian Planner, which includes five papers, each authored or co-authored by one of us, as well as Editorials by UQ|UP members Dorina Pojani and Neil Sipe. In combination, these papers provide a comprehensive picture of the knock-on effects of the pandemic in Brisbane.

Many congratulations to the UQ|UP team!
The research leading to the Special Issue was made possible by a Faculty of Science COVID Research Recovery grant of nearly $50,000. In awarding this Funding, the Faculty noted that our application clearly showed UQ|UP’s commitment to high-quality teaching during the difficult and unexpected circumstances associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. While we were more than willing to take on additional duties during the pandemic, this had an impact on our research. This funding has enabled us to return to our excellent research trajectory.
