What a night! On Monday, the Organisation of Planning Students (OOPS) at The University of Queensland hosted Urban Nexus: Planners Connect – Industry Night 2025, and the energy in the room was nothing short of inspiring.

This annual event brings together students, faculty, and industry professionals to celebrate the diverse and dynamic world of planning. It’s a rare and invaluable opportunity for future planners to meet with the people shaping our cities today, exchange ideas, and imagine the many pathways a planning career can take.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who made the evening such a success. From the industry leaders to students to the faculty at the School of ADP—thank you. Urban Nexus is truly a team effort, and this year’s success is a testament to the passion and collaboration that drives our planning community.
