This past Friday, UQ|UP’s Dorina Pojani delivered a seminar at UCT Hanoi. This was an inspiring one-day event where all presenters were women—a showcase of female leadership in transport academia. Dorina’s presentation focused on transport policy transfer in Southeast Asia, exploring how transport ideas and projects are adapted and implemented across the region. The seminar also featured fellow presenters who addressed various aspects of sustainable transport in Vietnam, providing a comprehensive view of the challenges and innovations shaping the field. The audience, composed of students, faculty colleagues, and special attendees like the Vice-Chancellor and Dean, were treated to an engaging exchange of ideas. The event highlighted the critical role of universities in advancing dialogue and research on global issues, with UCT increasingly standing out as a hub for academic exchange and innovation in the region.
