Dorina Pojani joins IGU’s Transport and Geography Commission

The Transport and Geography Commission of the International Geographical Union (IGU) aims to share and disseminate transport geography research at a global level in conjunction with a wide range of national transport geography research groups and other IGU Commissions. Its new Steering Committee (2024-2028) is comprised of 14 international members, including Dorina Pojani from UQ|UP. The Commission’s research focuses on transport, mobilities and spatial change and relates to geographic theory with specific attention paid to the interrelationships between spaces and places and flows and infrastructures. The dissemination of the Commission’s work includes publication of books, research journal papers and journal Special Issues. The kick-off meeting just took place today – stay tuned for updates!
