Students’ global perspective broadened by Hong Kong field trip with Dr Darchen
Twenty undergraduate and postgraduate students have experienced urban regeneration, adaptive reuse of heritage buildings, natural hazard mitigation, animal habitats and land reclamation initiatives first hand in a UQ|UP international field trip to Hong Kong and Macau. Student field-trip to Burley-Griffin Building in Ipswich, Qld
UQ town planning students visited a Walter Burley-Griffin building that was converted to a theatre. Walter Burley-Griffin and his wife Marion were responsible for designing Australia’s capital city- Canberra.
