Keeble Lecture 2023 is coming up

The School of ADP is a registered event partner for the upcoming Keeble Lecture which is an annual free public lecture, named in honour of Lewis Bingham Keeble, the Foundation Professor of Regional and Town Planning at The University of Queensland. The lecture will be held on Tuesday, 31 October, 5:30pm at Customs House (399 Queen Street) and is free. The event is designed to provide an opportunity for planners and the community to hear perspectives on topical issues within planning, city-making and the built environment. The University of Queensland is a long-term supporter of this signature event.  In 2022, the lecture was sold out with over 250 attendees.  The 2023 lecture is being given by UQ Alumnus, Greg Chemello.  Greg is a highly experienced urban planner and leader having held numerous executive roles within the Queensland Government, local government, and the private sector.  His most recent role was Chief Executive Officer with Moreton Bay Regional Council (2020 – 2023).  Greg will be speaking on the challenges of urban leadership at a time of significant change.   Registrations can be made at https://www.planning.org.au/events/event/The-Keeble-Lecture-2023
