Almost 200 planners and friends came together on 8 November to celebrate World Town Planning Day in Brisbane with PIA’s annual Keeble Lecture.
This year we heard a terrific lecture from historian Dr Margaret Cook, who shared her deep insights about Brisbane river flooding. Dr Cook highlighted the critical role of planners and planning in shaping our future – particularly in light of the climate emergency.
The University of Queensland partnered with PIA to make this important event possible, and UQ|UP’s Stephanie Wyeth MC’d the event.
