African Urban Planning Conference

The Second International Conference on African Urban Planning took place in Lisbon last week (7-8 September 2017, University of Lisbon). The conference discussed four main themes:

  • History of urban planning in Africa
  • Current debate on planning in Africa
  • Localising SDG11 and the New Urban Agenda
  • Social and economic challenges and changes in African cities
