Renuka Bhoge joined our MPhil program

Renuka Bhoge joined as a RHD student in School of Earth and Environmental Sciences in January 2017. She is an architect with post-graduation degree in Building Engineering and Management. Her research area is ‘Climate friendly urban design: A comparison between Australia and India’. Her research involves study of urban design tools that the planners, urban designers and architects can use to mitigate climate while planning and designing the built environment. For this purpose she is studying both the aboriginal architecture of Australia and the traditional architecture of India, as well as colonial and post-colonial architecture in both places. Her supervisors are Dr. Dorina Pojani and Dr. Sebastien Darchen.
